I received my Bachelors degree in Talmud and Film from Tel Aviv university and am now an M.A. student of Talmud at the Hebrew University. I’m interested in the legal culture that surrounded the rabbis as the Jewish legal texts were being composed. I’m working on my master's thesis that will deal with the way contracts were used and composed by Jews, as we can learn from the rabbinic texts, as well as other legal systems and various papyri from the region. I hope to learn about the broader context of the ancient Jewish texts, as well as the general experience of life in the ancient world.
