I was born in Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) and studied at Saint Petersburg State University, Department of Classical Philology (1996–2001). Since 1997, I have been studying the Greek epigraphy of the North-Western Black Sea area. I wrote my PhD on the cults of Olbia at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2024), under the supervision of Prof. Yulai Ustinova. From the late 1990s, I was involved in several epigraphic projects: I prepared articles from the archive of Prof. Yury G. Vinogradov for publication, and I took part in a major project of the Bibliotheca Classica Petropolitana: Corpus inscriptionum regni Bosporani: Album imaginum. In recent years I have taken part in the projects Onomasticon, a collection of Greek and Latin sources – texts, papyri and inscriptions – on the toponyms of Eretz Israel in alphabetical order, and Corpus Inscriptionum Iudaeae Palestinae, a collection of inscriptions of Eretz Israel, thus working with inscriptions and papyri in Israel.
